In observance of the 14^th annual Food Allergy Awareness Week, NIAID leaders outline the Institute's efforts in addressing this disorder:

·         Development of U.S. guidelines for the diagnosis and management of food allergy

·         Upcoming publication of the guidelines' key points for patients

·         Funding for programs in food allergy research
