Developmental disabilities inching up in U.S. kids

[Comment:  When I was a child, these disorders were virtually unheard of. I never heard of ADHD as a child I can remember kids born with mental retardation and that's a bout it. It's nothing but a poor excuse to hide the truth when they say that we're simply better at diagnosing these disorders now.  Excuses, excuses.  Teachers will tell you that 20 years ago they did not see these problems in their students.  There was no one in any of my elementary school education who exhibited the symptoms we're seeing in kids today.  The disorders simply didn't exist.  What are we doing to our children!!!]
