Kroger recalls dog, cat food varieties that may contain toxic chemical

"Kroger announced Saturday it is recalling select varieties of dog and cat food sold in some of its retail stores - including those in Mississippi - because the products may contain a substance that poses serious health risks to pets.

The items included in the recall may be contaminated with aflatoxin, a toxic chemical byproduct that occurs naturally from the growth of fungus on corn and other crops."
