[Comment: Please read this important information about the Danish Research Center in Denmark. Instead of looking out for "psychological factors" in MCS, research needs to be directed towards understanding and treating the physical aspects of MCS. People with MCS don't want to learn to cope with it any more than someone with cancer wants to learn to cope with dying of cancer. Instead, they want to find practical treatments for the physical problem. No physical diseaase, no mental impact. Treating mental impact and reactionary emotions to a physical disease while ignoring the physical disease does a HUGE DISSERVICE to the ill and allows the disease process to fester and perhaps worsen. Wake up Danish Research Centre and do something beneficial for a change!]

"In Denmark, as well as internationally, MCS sufferers are angry and indignant with the Research Center for Fragrance and Chemical Sensitivity, which was established in 2006 by the Danish Ministry of Environment. Its main aim was to conduct research into the connection between MCS and chemicals. There is a good reason for this indignation since it is evident that the Research Center's aim is not to find any real knowledge about MCS, least of all a connection between exposures to chemical substances and MCS."
