"Socioeconomic status and dependence upon food assistance are striking predictors of the levels of bisphenol A and four perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) found in urine samples gathered during a large U.S. survey. The wealthy had higher levels of PFCs than those who were poorer. Conversely, low income and use of food assistance programs predicted higher levels of bisphenol A."
