Foam Alone: Do Furniture Flame Retardants Save Enough Lives to Justify Their Environmental Damage?

[Comment:  An industry take on flame retardants. For what it's worth, the percentage of people who lose their lives to fires is far less than the percentage who lose their lives and quality of life due to flame retardants. These guys just have a vested interest in manufacturing and selling these flame retardants, hence they want it mandated in all furniture. Consumers should always have a choice. Coffee with cream, black coffee? Sofa with flame retardant, chemical free sofa. There should always be the choice!]
