Following are online resources about food allergy: The NIAID website explains food allergy, NIAID's role in food allergy research, and provides a summary of the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Food Allergy in the United States (PDF). ClinicalTrials.gov lists NIAID-sponsored food allergy studies that are currently enrolling volunteers. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website addresses efforts to protect children with food allergies in the school environment. The U.S. Department of Agriculture website describes the federal laws requiring that all food ingredients be listed on the food label.
